Big Dreams, Baby Steps

as God’s Driven People

by Elisha Peter

source: google
Dreams can be defined as a vision of yourself or a concept of what you want to be.

A driving force for your dream should be passion and desire for impact and value. Most times our dreams are what stand us out and distinguish us from others in the same field we are pursuing our dream.

Your dream should never be in competition with anyone because no two dreams are the same, they may be similar but never the same.

Whatever challenge you are going through right now, it makes up part of your dream.

What is your dream?

Why do you want that?

Baby Steps to take:

  • Before you embark on your dream, wait and evaluate what it takes.

Is this dream achievable?

  • Place your plan and desire before God. Pray about it

16 To humans belong the plans of the heart,
but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue.

All a person’s ways seem pure to them,
but motives are weighed by the Lord.

Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans.

Proverbs 16:1-3
  • Ask for advice

For lack of guidance a nation falls,

but victory is won through many advisers.

Proverbs 11:14
  • Take a step on an informed mind
    • What disciplines do you need?
    • What habits do you need?
    • What additional skill do you need?
Source: Google

  • Align and get connected with people who want similar thing
  • Deal with inconsistency. For every dream you have will be challenged by:
    • Society
    • Life
    • Friends
    • Family

But you must remain consistent.

  • Learn to follow trends and times so as to remain relevant.

LOVE

by Iju-king world.com

Love is not feelings, love is not emotion, love isn’t passion, you see many at times we often mistake love itself to it attributes but my dear, love is pain, love is perception and one among the strongest, love is S. A. C. R. I. F. I. C . E .

God loves humanity and that’s why He chooses to sacrifice himself in the second person of the Trinity not because humanity deserve such, neither does humanity have all it takes to be allocated such, but because He chose humanity and because he chose humanity, He chooses you inspite of your foolishness.

Your parents love you and for that reason, they chose to sacrifice their pleasures to suit your desires as it pleases you and for that reason, when you love a sister, let it be that you chose her and when you love that brother, let it be that you chose him and fully ready to take all the cost.

Don’t be fooled when a guy says I love you but the question is

  • will he stand by you when the world is against you?
  • will he stand for you when everyone rejects you?
  • and can he sacrifice to make you feel important???
  • Is she ready to see your efforts in the little you do for her and still choose you?
  • Is she willing to sacrifice her plan and stick to yours?
  • or she’s just there to lavish your money because you love her?
  • Will she choose to build a future together with you while you are a no body??
  • Can she stand by you when no one recognizes you?
  • And above all, can you both take the cross for each other?
  • Or were you just fooling yourselves because you said I love you.

Love isn’t beauty minded although it’s great to be beautiful but will you always be there for each other? I think your parents never give sleep to their eyes, till they satisfy you in every ramifications, otherwise their irresponsiblilities will gives wrong Impressions in children that could affect the society negatively and it can be told if they both love each other to stand by you.

Love isn’t all about who you are, what position you occupy or what you have at your disposal but what you behold 💪on the inside😉❣️

You Worth More

By Williams John

In this Life you are more than what people will say or think about you.

You deserve more

You worth more

And you can do it

You can make it in life

“Make sure you don’t start seeing yourself through the eyes of those who don’t value you.”

Anonymous

You can do whatever you want to do, you can do whatever you dream of, because you deserve to be treated right and better.

Don’t let anybody to look down on you. And don’t look down on your self because of what people say about you. Don’t let it get into you.

Again I say don’t let what people say about you to get into you

Because if you do, then they can have their way or power over you. Or it can make you give up on your dream or dreams.

Giving up is the worst thing you can do to yourself .

Instead of giving up, find more dreams that gives you a desire to push harder, don’t just dream, work at it. Having a goal in life makes it easier to discard talks that makes you feel worthless. you deserve beyond better, you are ENOUGH.

Time Management

Elisha Peter

Before God launched you into the world, He had gone into your world before sending you. He already knew how each step will go.

God works in His time not ours.

Psalms 90:1-12 tach us to seek wisdom to count our days. and being able to count our days we must first identify our life’s goal.

What is your main objective,

what do you hope to achieve in the next 5 years?

Knowing Your objective per time will help you plan strategically.

When we talk about objectives we are not referring to general life purpose, we are talking about what you want to achieve in the next 5 years, yes it may be steps leading to achieving your purpose in life, but those targets you set per time is the objectives we are talking about.

So therefore, How are you planning to achieve that objective?

The greatest asset you have in life is not MONEY, FAMILY or LUXURY

it is TIME

The time you have to be yourself and the time you have to serve God are not different times. It is in your time and will that God is gratified.

No man has an additional hour to his 24 hours a day, what you do with the given 24hrs tells if you will get to the set objectives.

Good time management helps you work smarter and not harder

Tools to Manage Time

  1. Set goals
  2. Make priorities
  3. Be a critical thinker and strategies well
  4. Make schedules
    • Have a to-do list
    • Do a few things at a time

Learn to save your money

What does saving mean?

It can mean preventing waste of a particular resource. Or gathering up for a particular target

Who can save?

                Every determined person

Do I need a Job to save?

No, you only need an income to save. Now what is an income? Money received, especially on a regular basis, for work or through investments.

How do I get the money to save?

  1. From gifts
  2. Cut down your expenses
  3. Buy only what you need, not want
  4. Salaries
  5. Providing services
  6. Starting a business

An effective saving plan must answer the following questions

  1. Why do you want to save? (Purpose is key)
  2. How much do you want to save? (Budget)
  3. Where will you want to save your money? (Plan)
  4. How long do you want to save? (Time frame)
  5. What are the unnecessary things you spend money on? (watch how you spend)
  6. What if you get so broke on the way? (develop discipline)

How do I discipline myself to save?

  1. Give someone else to keep for you
  2. Write your why on your piggy box
  3. Be accountable to someone

Now that you know all these, what is your decision?

MY COUNTRY, MY HERITAGE

By Njuking Ndumari

Nigeria my Fatherland

Who has labored by for my sake?

Without being mindful of death in any circumstance.

Who appeal to slavery under the mid-day sun

and says “yes” to my liberty?

For the purpose of my reconciliation under her unity.

You took the task and led me through thereby.

Protecting me from many principalities under the canopy of the father

That never allows me to be on my own, thereby bringing me to an ever lasting freedom

Today I stand to witness her 60th birthday anniversary

She stands in boldness and faith through her unity

For the progress of her continuity

through her independence as the product of her defence

I praise God for His faithfulness

Concerning her wounded back that is full of bruises

This bruises that obey the whip under the mid-day sun.

For the sake of her children thereby saying “Yes” to my defense.

Therefore I pledge to Nigeria my country, to be faithful, Loyal and Honest

To serve Nigeria with all my strength

To defend her unity

And uphold her honor and glory

Nigeria! Nigeria!! Nigeria!!!

My heritage

If I can see your patience, then I can see your success

CAREER DAY

By Benshak Jwanchin

A career is an occupation requiring special skills, simply what you want to do in life. Career is a life process, and there are reasons why we want a certain career path; which could be money, a person you see as a role model, environment, etc. You can always pick a new career.

Does purpose define career??

Yes, though most times we chose a career path base on financial security forgetting that excellence is an exception factor necessary for adding valuable value fueled by passion and desire. in choosing a career path, it is essential to go for what gives you satisfaction not what you feel compelled to do. Enjoy what you do, and purpose is that driving force.

Can consistency birth passion?

Consistency can give birth to result but not passion. A continuous attempt at a thing will definitely result in success, but being satisfied and motivated to enjoy all attempts is passion. Not neglecting the fact that passion itself has a triggering factor. Which could be money, fame, a role model etc, these factors can fuel your motivation to keep doing the same thing, at the same time, in the same place.

Things to consider when choosing a career

  • What are your interest? is this something that fascinates you, does it draw your attention to what to make more research about it?
  • What are you good at? from a younger age or stage in life, we all have some traits of things that we are good at, some kids may be the best when it comes to constructing toy cars or play items.
  • What are your strengths?
  • What is your personality? you can check out http://16personalities.com and take the test to find out more about what makes you who you are.
  • What are your values? what do you hold in high esteem and it makes more sense to you? do you believe in what this career path stand for?
  • What education do you need? for every career path, there is an educational field for you to sharpen your skills, for example you love to work on fixing things, or you are passionate and fascinated by wall paintings or POP fixing, you can go to study Building, Fine arts, Architecture or even Civil engineering, all these can open you up to master your skill and even be the best at what you do.
  • Why do i want to pursue this career? knowing your why is a critical force which can keep you going even when challenges begin to come on the way. why do you want to be a Doctor, evaluate your why???

DANGERS OF EXPEDIENCY FACTOR

By Elijah Njuking Ndumari

Why do people seek for the easiest way in life??

Why do people always go for the fastest way??

Why do people do the unnecessity in life??

Because they have decided to go for the bitter instead of the better.

people believe the easiest way is the fastest, which indeed comes with a long time consequence for the benefit of short-time satisfaction.

People love to go for getrich-quick scheme because they don’t want to labour for the success.

Imagine a man who would want to get to the peak of life without a starting point; This leads to misconduct in the society today, it opens a little chance for the devil to magnify upon.

EXPEDIENCY Factor has caused many of our people to miss their way in life, because life as it is, is seen as a miserable thing caused by situation and circumstance.

People are now eager for the short-time satisfaction that comes with a long-time punishment all for the sake of breaking free from a hurting situation, blinded by our desires we fail to see the awaiting doom because ignorance has overtaken the day. Thereby causing people to misbehave at the sight of satisfaction that could demand for a life that will lead to worse instead of the better.

EXPEDIENCY factor is the extension of the path at least resistance which says

“people invariable seek the fastest and easiest way to get the things they want right now with little or no concern for the long-time consequence caused by their behavior”

IF YOU CAN’T LABOR FOR YOUR SUCCESS, THEN YOU CAN NEVER MAKE IT
